Hellenic Institute of Transport

The Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) is a highly accredited research institution that provides state of the art research and creates innovation in the field of Transport in Greece and around Europe. Established in Greece in March 2000 as part of Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), HIT has evolved throughout the years towards becoming a center of excellence, undertaking research activities in all aspects concerning transport industry.
The Hellenic Institute of Transport operates both in Thessaloniki and Athens, and comprises of a team of 51 highly ranked specialists, among those, researchers at grades A, B and C, technical research scientists, experts and administrative personnel.
